NOTE: CRN 31925 is part of the Learning Community AMERICAN CONNECTION: Freedom, Dissent and Equality. This course will explore the creation and development of American society to 1865. Join us as we discover first hand the voices of American visionaries, rebels, slaves and soldiers. This collaborative course examines American literature and history from our colonial beginnings to the dramatic and passionate struggles of the Civil War. As we study the American past, we will reflect on our own experiences and what it means to be an American today. Students MUST enroll in both English M01A (CRN 32884) and History M07A (CRN 31925).
